The "Friends of Education" award was recently presented to Apache by the Beaver Dam Unified School District.  Steve Vessey, the Superintendent of schools said that the award is given annually to one organization who demonstrates distinguished service to the Beaver Dam Unified School District and its students. "Apache has provided donations of materials and equipment to the technical education program and has partnered with youth projects and revitalized the youth apprenticeship program," said Steve Vessey.

Accepting the award for Apache was Pam Korth, HR Manager.  "Apache Stainless is committed to the community and our employees, just like the Beaver Dam Unified School District is committed to the community and their students," said Pam Korth. "We have worked together to do amazing things.  We are proud of our partnership that results in providing opportunities for students beyond the classroom." Pam also commended Joe Kutzler, the Engineering and Technology Instructor at the high school for reaching out to her to talk about partnering with the high school.
