Beaver Dam, Wis. – April, 2013   Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation manufactures capital equipment, fabricating both custom and standard products using stainless steel, aluminum and other high alloys. There are five product groups: Large Stainless ASME tanks, Small / Portable Vessels, Contract Manufacturing / Metal Finishing, Carbon Steel Equipment (Plover, Wis. location) and Mepaco, the food processing equipment group.

Apache invites employees and families, students, customers, vendors and members of the community to an Open House on Friday, September 25 from 11 am – 5pm.  The manufacturing area will be set up for public tours and demonstrations.  

Apache Stainless celebrates 40 years in business this year and the company recognizes many milestones:

1975      Founded by Duane Foulkes
1976      Manufacturing begins
1983      Built 46,250 sq. ft. facility on Industrial Drive
1990      Opened a 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Plover, WI
1993      Acquired Mepaco, the food processing equipment group
1994      Started Small/Portable Vessel group
1999      Started Contract Manufacturing group
2000      Increased manufacturing and office footprint by 54,000 sq. ft.
2006      Became part of Dexter-Apache Holdings and employee-owned

Apache employs 180 experienced craftsmen, technicians, engineers and managers. Many are cross-trained to move fluidly between fabrication processes, welding and assembly, as well as having the ability to work across product lines.

Visitors can meet with the original founder, Duane Foulkes who will be attending the event as well as the current president, Ed Paradowski.  Refreshments will be served during the Open House, Friday, Sept. 25, 11am – 5pm.
