(Beaver Dam, Wis.) Pam Korth, Apache's Human Resources Manager, was recognized as the Human Resources Manager of the Year (medium size business category), awarded by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) at Policy Day in Madison, Wisconsin, August 6th.
The award is given to the professional who exhibits value through best practices and effectiveness and a proven track record of giving back to the community and HR profession. Pam received the state-wide award for the medium category for companies with 100 - 500 employees.
Pam was recognized for a 91% employee retention rate at Apache, continuous participation in Welding Boot Camp and apprenticeship programs. Community and professional activities include Chairperson of the MBA (Manufacturer's Business Alliance of Dodge County), shared recipient of Wisconsin Fast Forward grant for welding training and placement, Moraine Park Technical College committees, Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce member, City of Beaver Dam Development Committee member and Dodge County SHRM member.
